When we lose a Faithful Friend our world seems to collapse and often we don't quite know what to do. For a number of reasons it is important that you act quickly. Just like you, we want the best for your pet and your pet deserves dignity and respect.

Just like people, amimal bodies deteriorate quite quickly, especially in hot weather. This is why we operate a 24-hour transport service every day of the year in all weather. Simply call us on 4696 3288 and we will come to your home or vet or wherever your pet may be as quickly as possible. Our vehicle is specially fitted to transport your pet in a temperaure-controlled environment.

You may want to wrap your pet in its blanket or a sheet or similar cover as your pet may lose some bodily fluids. Keep your pet in a cool place but it is not necessary to keep it refrigerated unless there is likely to be a delay of several hours.

If your pet needs to be put to sleep at your vet's surgery or at home, let us know in advance and we will arrange to be at the vet's or your home as soon after the time as is suitable for you. Be sure to let the vet know that you want your pet to be transported to Faithful Friends as some vets automatically use other more expensive cremation sevices.

At our facility located on the peaceful Southern Downs we have refrigerated storage to keep your pet for two or three days if you need time to decide just what services you want for your pet's final journey, whether that is burial or cremation.
