The Cemetery consists of three distinct areas - a Bushland section, a Lawn Cemetery and a separate area for individual grave sites with headstones.

In the Bushland Setting pets are buried in open grassed areas beneath shade trees or among native bushes and shrubs. No separate grave site is preserved and no grave marker is erected. You will simply rest in the knowledge that your faithful friend has been treated with respect and dignity in death and has a peaceful, well-maintained resting place that you can visit whenever you like. No casket is used in this area and no on-going maintenance fees apply.

If you would also like a memorial, we will have "Walls of Remembrance" in which a small bronze plaque can be erected in memory of your pet. Alternatively, you could donate a tree to be planted somewhere in the garden area of the cemetery to which a brass plate could be attached once the tree is large enough to carry it.

We give you a Certificate of Burial as a memento and to provide you with the assurance that your wishes have been met.

The cost of burials in the Bushland Setting depends on the size of the pet, starting at just $88.00* for a small animal such as a lap dog or a cat up to around $110.00* for a large dog such as a shepherd.

The Lawn Cemetery consists of separately maintained plots that lie side-by-side in a lawn area along arcs of concrete that carry a bronze or stainless steel plaque marking each grave.

Because each pet's grave is adjacent to another, pets must be buried in caskets in this area. Caskets can range from a simple pine box to stained, lined caskets with satin and lace and brass handles - the choice is yours. You can see the range of caskets available on the Product page of this site.

An on-going maintenance fee applies to graves in this section - see a current price list for details. The first three year's maintenance is charged at the time of the burial and may be renewed by you for three-year periods thereafter. We guarantee to maintain the grave as long as you wish.

Your Certificate of Burial will indicate the location of the grave site.

Lawn burials vary greatly in cost because you have a choice of caskets. The burial cost ranges from $110.00 for a small animal to $154.00 for a large dog*.

A bronze or stainless steel plaque bearing the name of the pet and an inscription is inlayed into the concrete strip above the grave. The cost of a plaque is around $88.00*.

At the time of the burial you pay the first three year's maintenance fee of $75.00. When this period expires we will contact you and you may renew the maintenance contract if you choose. If you do not renew the contract the plot could revert to the cemetery at some time in the future.

Headstones

Should you require a more substantial marker for your pet's grave we have a separate area set aside for individual graves with Headstones. Headstones are available in a variety of materials but the need to maintain a neat and tidy cemetery allows a limited range of styles. Headstones may be engraved or have a bronze or stainless steel plaque attached.

The cost of burial in this area is $299.00 which includes an individual slab with deep footings so that it will never sink or tilt. A headstone of sandstone or granite either engraved with a a message or carrying a bronze plaque is erected over the grave. Headstones are of a standard design only, with prices commencing at $1,200.00.

In this area pets are buried in caskets. You can see the range of caskets available on the Products page.

A Certificate of Burial shows the location of the grave.

You can reserve a plot or a number of plots together for a family area in any of the cemetery sections. Please contact Judy or John at the cemetery for details.

We operate a 24/7 collection service from home or vet. Pick up from your vet is free, however, a small fee will be charged for collection from a private home, depending on the distance travelled.
