Caskets

For burials in the Lawn Cemetery and the Headstone area, a casket is required.

Plain Pine Casket:

The simplest casket is constructed of pine and has no lining, trim or handles. It is not stained or polished but is carefully crafted with a plain but tight-fitting lid.

Stained Casket:

The pine casket can be stained and polished with decorative trim across the bottom and on the lid. It has no handles and is not fully lined but has a padded bottom liner.

Delux Casket:

The delux casket is stained and polished and has metal handles. The lid and base have decorative timber trims. The casket is lined in satin trimmed with lace and features a satin pillow.

Custom caskets can be made to order provided sufficient notice is given.

All caskets are made from environmentally friendly materials and all metal fittings are removed before cremation. Any collars and tags are removed and returned to you along with the ashes.

Urns

A wide range of ceramic urns is available. Prices vary depending on style and size from $44.00 to $132.00. Talk to Judy or John to view the range of urns available.

The Standard Range of urns is available in a range of sizes - small, medium, large and extra large, priced from $44.00 to $66.00.

White, blue and black are standard stocked colours.

Other colours are available (brown, yellow, green) however, allow time for delivery and an extra cost for ordering. Call us for details.

Wooden Boxes

Polished wooden boxes are also available in a range of sizes and timbers, ranging from $44.00 to $66.00.

These beautifully hand-crafted boxes are locally-made from solid timbers such as New Guinea Rosewood.

A brass name plate is attached to the lid.

 

 

If you do not wish to purchase an urn or a box your ashes will be returned to you in a sealed scatter bag.
